About Our Camp

A summer camp for children ages four (4) through thirteen (13).  KOTM offers quality summer child care at a price you can afford. Children feel safe, secure, and most of all, excited to come camp everyday because of the many awesome activities. Camp activities will continue to include STEM, we want to help impact not only your children’s summer but their future as well. Kids on the Move continues to be a part of NWDC’s innovative programs and services that addresses the needs of disadvantaged and at-risk youth St. John the Baptist Parish.

Summer Camp Before & After Care Services

We do provide before & after care during the summer. We open 6a.m. and close at 6p.m.

Our Before & After Care Fee for camp is $3 per hour for the first child and $1 dollar for each additional child.

WHAT IS THE KOTM'S DRESS CODE?

All campers are required to wear the "Kids on the Move" Summer Camp T-Shirt every day except Fridays. Fridays are free dress day. Dress appropriate and modestly. T-shirts (required) cost $12.00

WILL LUNCH BE PROVIDED?

Campers will receive a hot meal Monday through Friday. The camper has the option to bring a bag lunch.

ARE SNACKS PROVIDED?

Snacks are available for purchase after lunch for a minimal cost. Parents are allowed to put money on child's food account for snacks.

DOES KOTM ACCOMMODATE MEDICAL NEEDS?

Counselors are not allowed to administer medications for any reason. Children may NOT bring medication to the camp facility without the Camp Director's approval. Please tell the Camp Director o any medical problems during registration. Parents will be contacted to pickup child if he or she is ill so that the child may receive the proper attention needed.

WHAT TYPE OF PAYMENTS ARE ACCEPTED FOR REGISTRATION, TUITION, ETC?

We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. We also offer online payments.

WHAT IS THE KOTM REFUND POLICY?

We do not offer refunds for registrations, absentees, camp closures due to inclement weather or missed field trips.
